Investing Wisely

Earning money nowadays is really hard, that why we should all learn where to best put our money. Most of us would only think of investing on land or acquiring a new business. However, these options will require your full attention and extensive hands-on planning. I have found out another option which is also sure good investing with. And that option is gold investing. Why? For one gold is non-depreciating. Second, if you want to dispose it-- it will just be easy. Either you have it auctioned in banks or sell it to jewellers. The international market has high demand for this so the risk is barely existing at all. The best time to invest is now.

Growing Pains

Waaaaa... I got the job that I wanted and I considered myself lucky for that. Oh well I spoke too soon. When I got the job offer last October, I thought the only problem I have are my computer's hard disk (which I though was busted and I consider this a minor ish) and the major one is my internet connection. My SmartBro connection is not good enough for my new work's requirement. Since April 'til now, my pending Globe broadband application is still (guess what?) an application. Unfortunately, I only have two choices with high-speed connection-- globe and PLDT. But then the previous tenants of the house we're renting right now has outstanding past due with PLDT. So that only leaves me with one choice... globe. Until I met an agent from globe and after a few weeks, he got me an available port. Done with my major problem.

Then I bought a new hard disk (again!) since I need the computer working before the broadband people installs the service. How can I test it of course, if I don't have PC. After I installed windows and tested my pc for two days, then came my internet connection. A day passed by then my computer won't start. SO what's the goddamn problem this time? Thank God one of my officemate's hubby is a hardware pro. He checked it and I what have suspected even before, I knew all along it was my motherboard. So he replaced it with a new one then before I picked it up, the processor was not working anymore! It got busted because of my mobo. So he replaced not only the mobo but as well as the processor. And now my unit's as good as knew!

Then let's go back to my internet connection. I subscribed for 2Mbps broadband package. Download is ok. Upload's a bit bad. I need to have at least 400Kbps of upload speed for our office's IT clearance. Problems... when will it ever end?!

I don't want to work at the training center on Christmas day! Huhuhu.

Working to make a Living

Alas! I'm so happy to find out that we have work on Thanksgiving... weird huh?! But I'm in dire need nowadays and resting is not going to help me with this need. I don't know how what else do I need to do in order for me to make ends meet every day. I'm working damn hard so that I can pay all my debts but most of the time-- it ain't enough. Well... thank God there's Jada-- she's the only inspiration and reason why I have to try living this very challenging life.

Little by little, my blog is getting "productive" every week. So happy to get 2 new paid tasks from blogitive while I'm waiting to get my "reward" from payperpost. I know I still need to work hard to attract more visitors and make my page rank go up. Jeez, I have to study some more on how SEO works... but for the meantime-- I'll also work on improving my writing skills as well.

Goodbye Sitel

I hate to leave them but it's true that you can't serve two masters at the same time. And I have made my choice-- I have to resign from my NZ Telecom... not that I don't love the account nor do I dislike my co-employees... but I have to be practical and choose a much better paying job.

New Work... again

And so... here's the job I've been waiting for-- Work From Home! The pay is compensating enough, and the account is not that toxic. You can say I'm "choosy" but I just know what my worth is. And also, with this kind of job... I can work out my other plans, like going back to school and finish my studies.

But the most important reason why I just wanted to stay at home is Jada. I just wanted to be with my daughter 24-by-7. Since I'm her only parent, I want to make sure she will grow and mature the way I wanted her to be. It's hard to be a hands-on mom if I get an office-based job. I only have one body and I can't always be with her for her needs if I'm always out.

Well, thanks to technology and innovation.

Perfect Present for Him this Holiday

I was searching for perfect gift for guys, just like for my friends and loveones this coming holiday... when I stumbled upon a good website to find the best gifts for him. About Forgiving

My uncle's wife just died this Monday. Honestly, I don't feel anything for her when I learned what happened. She did something "bad" to us in the past. I have forgiven her, but I just can't forget how she treated me and my siblings during the time we needed help. It's gonna be always in my memory bank and part of the hard lesson learned.

I pray for her soul. And for my mother's soul as well. Hep, it's not what you think! My mom's still alive. However, she finds it hard to forgive my late aunt. She even uttered a few unkind words with regards to her. My brother even tried to advice her to let go of the past and just forgive her since she's already dead. I know... it's not healthy for her or for anyone to hold grudges from the past. But that's how she is, sad to say.

I know she needed help. Seriously. Now I know why she's living at the dark side of of life. I came to realize I will never be like her, don't want to be like her... I want to live peacefully. Even if life has been unkind to me most of the time, still I know that my wheel of fortune will eventually turn and luck's gonna be on my side again.

It's hard to move on... but it's much harder to move forward if you'll be carrying excess baggages as you go on the journey of life.

In-Laws

Others might disagree with me... but I don't find it hard to love my "in-laws". We get along well, as far as I'm concerned. Before, I was hesitant and having doubts that I won't be welcome anymore after what happened with me and with "him". However, we just get closer. I feel that their love for my daughter is genuine. And much as I would like to stay as far as I can from them, I'm finding it hard to deprive them of my daughter.

I know I've had my share of faults. However, they still accept and acknowledge that I'm "his" wife and would introduce me as such to other people. Well, only time can tell when I'll forgive him for what he has done to our family... but I'm still thankful for him... for his family's warm reception towards us. Even though Jada doesn't have a complete family, she still can enjoy her extended family.

I love them so much... like my own.

Bonding moments with Jada

Jada and I spent the weekend with my officemates in one of the executive rooms at Linden Suites last Friday. Actually, it's our class' prize for winning from the PPHD launch held two weeks ago at Phi Bar. I know our class will win, for we got our own class' version of "Destiny's Child/Pussycat Dolls"... even they're not full-pledge girls (if you know what I mean!). Anyhow, they're super talented and our Kiwi bosses like their performance sooo much. So, the credit really goes out to them. Nikki, our Kiwi trainor, bought our class 6 boxes of pizza as her treat for making her class win.

I decided to take her along with me so that she can get some fresh air and comfortable bed to sleep with even for a night even though she's a bit unwell last week. Almost every two weeks, Jada's either got a fever, colds, cough or all. Too bad, I don't have HMO yet since I'm still under proby status with the new company. Our house is too small and we can't afford to squeeze-in her own toddler bed. The ventilation is not good enough as well, which I think is the main reason why she's always had cough and colds.

Going back, she had her fun at the jacuzzi. I know it's gonna do good for her because of the warm water. But then, I never imagine that I can spend time with my friends, with my daughter tagged along and have so much fun at the same time.
